Ombre Pinecones

Materials

• 1 pinecone

• Acrylic paint in three or four shades of the same color

• Angled paintbrush

• An old toothbrush

Directions

1. Use your toothbrush to clean off any dirt or bugs

2. Starting at the bottom of the pinecone, paint 1/4 of the pinecone in the darkest shade of paint

3. Continue painting the next shade to the next 1/4 of the pinecone

4. Repeat with the rest of the shades until you reach the top
