Patriotic Cake Cookies

Red, white & blue deliciousness

Ingredients

• 1 box of French vanilla cake mix

• 1/3 cup canola oil

• 2 large eggs

• Red and sky blue gel food coloring

Directions

1. Preheat oven at 350º F

2. Use a standing mixer to combine cake mix, vegetable oil, and 2 eggs until combined

3. Divide the batter into three separate bowls.

4. Mix red food coloring into one bowl

5. Mix Sky Blue food coloring into the second bowl

6. Leave the third bowl white

7. Take about 1 tsp of each color of dough and form into tablespoon sized balls.

8. Place cookie dough balls about 2 inches apart on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet

9. Lightly push each cookie dough ball down so that it becomes a thick but flat disk.

10. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes

11. Allow cookies to completely cool before enjoying
