Spooky Hands

Materials

• Surgical gloves

• Twist ties

• Craft items (beads, buttons, googly eyes, etc)

• Water

• Food coloring

Directions

1.  Add items to your surgical gloves, work them down to the fingers

2. Fill the gloves with water, add a few drops of food coloring. Hold gloves closed & shake to evenly distribute food coloring. Seal gloves with rubber band or knot.

3. Freeze gloves overnight on a cookie sheet in the freezer.

4. Once frozen, make a few cuts in the glove. Slide gloves off ice (frozen hand)

5. Play with melting science. Gather materials - salt, brushes, spoons, syringes, etc

6. Use spoons and/or shakers to pour salt on the frozen hands and syringes or spoons to transfer water from the bowl on to the icy hands
